"Silence is also part of the rhythm."
From Strategy to Story
For over two decades, my professional world has been defined by public health, strategic communications, and the "Heart & Brain" connection. As a co-founder and leader within federal and non-profit spaces, I’ve dedicated my career to advancing health outcomes and designing programs that drive equity. My work has always been about more than data; it’s been about the people and stories behind the health outcomes, ensuring that every individual—man or woman—has the tools to lead a healthier, more informed life.
Navigating the Change
However, life has a way of introducing its own rhythm. Having navigated the profound silence and transformation that follows loss—most notably through the experience of losing my husband to cancer—my perspective on wellness shifted. I realized that resilience isn't just about "getting through"; it’s about how we intentionally design our lives after the dust settles. I learned that silence is also part of the rhythm, and that true wellness in our 50s and beyond requires a different, more restorative kind of advocacy for both men and women.
Why Evergreen?
This realization led to the birth of The Evergreen Life. It is the synthesis of my public health expertise and my lived experience. Through Evergreen, I am creating a space for individuals to explore identity, health, and resilience with intention. Whether through strategic gatherings or shared perspectives, my mission is to help people build an "Evergreen" life—one that is resilient, rooted, and perpetually in bloom, regardless of the season they are in.
